Features – Dashboards

If it involves Data - we can help you

Once there is data in the grid, then you can do a variety of things with it – pivot grids, reports, exports, etc.  However, the most powerful feature in the product is its dashboards.

These dashboards are fully interactive allowing the user to drill down into the graphics, filter the data, view the detailed records that make up the dashboard, etc.  The capabilities of these dashboards is truly amazing.

Dashboard - Starting

To start setting up a dashboard all you need is data in the grid and click the Design Dashboard – as shown in the above screen shot.

Any time after you have designed the dashboard – you just have to click the Show Dashboard button to see the results and interact with it.

Reports - Designer

The above screen shows InSights Into Data dashboard designer.

Here you can see a simple dashboard design.  It has two filters, a tree map, pie charts, some cards, Choropleth maps,  etc.  It is all created using drag & drop – no coding required.

These dashboards can contain many visual data elements including images, grid and pivot grids.

The possibilities are endless in terms of what you can create to allow your users to visually explore their data!

Reports - viewer

The above screen shot shows the dashboard viewer.  The viewer is shown in a tab in the Results page.

Here you can interact with the dashboard, zooming in on items, filtering data, printing, exporting, etc.

Reports - Options / Exports

When you are viewing the dashboard, you can perform a number of exports – printing, PDF, Images, Excel – and to the Viewer.

The Viewer is a separate application that allows the user to view and interact with the dashboard.  It allows someone using the InSights Into Data designer to create an interactive dashboard that can be shared with other users such as management or anyone who wants to explore their data and learn from it!!
